proxy sites absorb your IP address so that you can browse other websites without it being logged that you were actually the one doing it.
Another use of proxy sites is accessing sites like myspace and facebook from school/work networks that normally have them blocked. Whatever you type into a proxy site is logged though, and the operator of the site may be using it to get your personal information such as usernames and passwords. __________________________________ Self Build Insurance |
