RE: Which one is better?? 'Underscore' or 'Hyphen'?
I don't believe one really offers an advantage at this point from Google's stand point. It was originally expressed that an underscore doesn't properly parse the words so I have always used hyphens. More importantly when you create a link based off the URL and underscore can sometimes be misunderstood as a space.

RE: Which one is better?? 'Underscore' or 'Hyphen'?
Google does not differentiate between the two. I have been in the habit using mainly hyphens.I also think it is easier on the eyes to read a hyphenated string of words the underscore.
I agree that t times an underscore my blend with other lines or graphics around it. |

RE: Which one is better?? \\\\\\\'Underscore\\\\\\\' or \\\\\\\'Hyphen\\\\\\\'?
Hi,
In the \\\\\\\"olden\\\\\\\" days SEO experts recommended that we use hyphens in our domain name and filenames (basketball-tips.html, for example) to help the search engines read the keywords. Now the engines are so advanced this isn\\\\\\\'t as much of a necessity as it was years ago. But as far as domains go, you cannot use underscores, only hyphens. Hyphen is better than the underscore but try to avoid using both of things in your web page...

Hi..
I read a blog of Matt Cutts from webmaster and according to that Underscores should always be avoided because Underscores are normally used by programmers while writing algorithms and is often misinterpreted by search robots. He suggested that dashes are much better to act as separators. _______________ IT Support Dublin |

Hyphen is better than underscore so, always use hyphen in your webpage address.
